CI/ASL & Culturally Deaf "Divided" By Values, Not By Labels
An attempt to distinguish between the two groups to justify DeafSide and to dismantle the misconception that there is a controversy on DeafRead because of DeafSide and/or CI posts/blogs.

I think it is brave (but pointless), deaf,read are trying to organize deaf via catagories, it's not possible. As soon as you try, someone will see a wall going up.
Very good blog... stressing on the values. I see that values is the least understood across the DeafRead, same as humor.

Hmm, I hate to bring up about your questionable sign language like "value". That should be fingerspelled "v a l u e s", not "value".
Your sign for "values" would confuse many people by associated it with value of money.
The approriate ASL sign for "values" is the "5" handshape, then turned it into "S" handshape on the human chin. Okay? :)
